Movies took a new turn when the 1980’s came about.They had music, color, and clever story lines.Movies like the Breakfast club dirty dancing, and Footloose were made in the 80’s and are still being watched to this day.Many people said that the movies had become for more mature audiences because more smoking, cursing, drinking and violent scenes were included in movies.The 80’s brought many different kinds if movies, more horror, comedy, and action films were produced in the 1980’s than ever before.1980’s movies are known as classics today and will continue to be watched for many years to come.
Fashion In the 1980’s
The 1980’s brought a new pop diva, MTV type of style to the world. With heavy influences from the music industry and MTV, the younger generations all wanted to be Hip and cool. The 1980’s style was mainly to rush to your favorite stores and find whatever the stars were wearing in “Footloose” and “Flashdance.” The Ripped sweatshirts and the streaked jeans were the most popular outfits to wear from the movies. The 1980’s style was more than the movie look, it brought a lot of people to be different and find here own styles. The style got crazy! People started teasing their hair, getting tattoos, body pricings, and wearing sunglasses at night. The men also started wearing eyeliner and lipstick. The woman wore loud colored high heel stilettos and they carried metallic clutch bags everywhere they went. The style in the 1980’s was crazy and that’s the only way to put it. People just wanted to be different.
